Have you ever heard of line art? Its when you draw lines on a plain background with very little shading or gradient. There are some famous paintings done in line art - The Dove of Peace was done by Picasso
- an beautiful piece (photo courtesy of biographyonline.net ). It is also worth a lot of money. So I decided that I would start taking bids for the line art found around my house recently. I've taken the liberty of naming each piece, but if you think of one better, please let me know.
First up: eau de toilette
Second: from the kitchen floor
Third: I don't want to eat my dinner
Last: Let Me Outta My Room
all artwork by the artist known as Little Man.
Bids start at $1000.00, who's first?
Looks like the priceless works of art hanging in our home! LOL!!!

You are so funny!!! We have priceless art around here, as well. The latest being pencil lines on the grout on the kitchen counter...I just bleached it last week. I guess the kids couldn't stand it being so clean.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like my house. We must have the same decorator... boys that is. I have two boys and one hubby. Im the only girl in our home. Props for keeping it real.
ReplyDeleteHappy sits day.
You are funny, how many bids have you received so far? I'm guessing zero.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying my visit here from SITS. Congrats on your SITS day!
LOL!! I just popped over here to visit and I saw these photos and I BURST out laughing. I have 2 girls (one 5 and one 3 next month) and one little boy (he's 7mo old Wednesday) and I can SO relate to this! Little "decorators", lol.
ReplyDeleteI totally have Picasso paintings all over my house... with crayon...
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it! Our house is decorated in valuable art, too. I don't know what I'll do when there are no more artists around here.
ReplyDeleteMy son is 4.5 and he has yet to create this type of art.... I don't know why, it isn't like he doesn't have opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI think that all writing implements need to be kept under lock & key.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS. I am so glad that my 2 have never tried to be picasso's on my furniture. You seem to be able to laugh it off, too funny!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me thankful that my house is mainly dark wood. Not much shows....
ReplyDeleteNice! I love the line art. Stopping by from SITS.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you poor thing! Secondly, how. freaking. funny. Seriously. His "art" is funny by itself but I LOVE how you are able to laugh about it! :)
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS as well, am now following :)
That is so funny! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOy Vei! I'm so glad my kids are past this phase. "This too shall pass" or at least that is what I keep telling myself daily. HA! I found your blog on SITS and wanted to say hi.
